The top is made from 3/4" MDO plywood and does  come with a feeder hole

Our boxes have 7/8" deep frame rest for an extra 1/4" above the frames to make it easier to put in Queen cells or adding feeding patties

This Pine J NUC Box is similar to the Cypress JNUC Box but is made of Northern White Pine and the Top is made of 3/4" exterior MDO sign plywood

Simply drill a 1" hole in the rear of the box you want to feed in and attach with the screws provided. The built in screen prevents the bees from escaping while feeding. Made of cypress for long life. Fits a standard mason jar lid.
