Santa Marina Chardonnay skus_21324 sweet Canadian whiskyThis wine represents a triumphant return for us as we could not make Chardonnay the last two vintages due to botrytis (2010v) and frost (2011v). Almost entirely from the original plantings in Block W of Clone 4 at the iconic Bien Nacido Vineyard, these 40 year old vines are producing magical qualities that only can come from old vines. A small percentage of younger vine Clone 96 from the beautiful Presquile Vineyard is also part of the final blend.
