The 2019 vintage was one of the warmest in recent memory in Bordeaux, yet the Smillon at Rieussec still developed ample botrytis to yield an ultra aromatic and age worthy Sauternes. After pressing, the wine was fermented and kept on the lees with regular stirring until December, after which time
