Chinese dragons don't tend to breathe fire, they breathe clouds instead so you'll often see them surrounded by clouds and flying around in the air. The colour red is very prominent in Chinese culture as well as gold tones this brooch is a really traditional looking piece but due to removing the whiskers I feel it could be a European styled dragon too.
