I took me nearly a year to complete. At the time I was living in an apartment in West Seattle with a 180 degree view of the Puget Sound. It was probably this stunning view which partly inspired this work, which merges the Puget Sound with some other region, closer to Hawaii than Washington State. I love doing that, mixing up regions.
