As the material is bronze, a wire halyard will eventually tear the lead fitting. Replace the fitting when two thirds remain. Fits over the halyard and an insulating plastic plate to prevent corrosion, a 5,3 mm drillbit and 3 x M6 self tapping screws are included. A halyard lead is often needed for a headsail furling installation to create the important 10 angle between
