Vincent Girardin Batard Montrachet 2015 Bottle:12 It was first made herePale, bright yellow. Very ripe scents of yellow peach, musky hazelnut and vanillin oak. Dense, opulent and seamless but tighter in the early going than the Bienvenues Batard, with its powerful stone fruit flavors framed by sound acidity. No easy sweetness here; in fact, this wine is almost painful. Most impressive today on the unflagging back end, which shows a slight phenolic quality as well as terrific lift and citrussy cut, with the note of
