As a child I went out hunting with my father and I’d have the job of running to find fallen geese that would later be our dinner for the week

Since returning to Darwin I have been delighted by these beautiful and often comical birds

In my  paintings I have tried to capture this joy

Each day someone passes this tree with its rounded leaves of hope
