GD Vajra Langhe Freisa 'Kye' 2019 Region | Paarl Domaine du Pélican has beenMilena and Aldo Vajra created their namesake estate to bottle juice formerly sold to negociants for the first time in 1978. Today, the estate comprises 40 hectares of fruit, which macerate extensively and age in Slavonian casks. Kye is a varietal Freisa marked by notes of tart red berries, white pepper, tobacco, and earth. The wines high acid and long finish make it absolutely stellar on the table, especially with traditional Italian fare.
