Later that evening I visited the same location and captured the scene under a full moon with some of the twilight still apparent on the horizon

With a quick shutter I capture many images of the skyline including this one as lightning lit the Denver skyline through the pavilion at Cheesman Park

and the float planes were coming back from excursions during the day

As the clouds moved in front of the mountain I composed an image and waited for some clearer skies

With the building transformed into a transportation hub it has attracted many visitors during the second half of the year. The architecture of the canopy over the tracks is quite interesting and on a sunny day I headed down to this area.
