The Greek goddess of wisdom, Athene, was often depicted with an owl, as was her Roman counterpart Minerva. We created this unique pendant by taking lapis from a vintage 14k gold cufflink (circa 1950) and mounting on a 9ct gold owl from a 1910s era brooch.
