I'm sure it would polish out but we somehow missed doing so before photographing

but I can see a slight shadow at bottom

and remain is fine condition

The original 6 carved mother of pearl handled tools still inside, along with a wonderful pocket knife (sadly, blade broken), and retractible silver pencil, thimble.
