It is aged about forty five years in French Limosin Oak barrels and is classified as 1er Cru du Coganc. All Pierre Ferrand Cognacs are made from eaux de vie from the Angeac terrior that is part of the Grand Champagne growing cru, a micro terroir that many consider to contain the finest parcels in Grand Champagne. A very old Grande Champagne Cognac, from the cellars of
