Fourrier, Gevrey Chambertin Champeaux Vv Vintage:2017 succulent herbs(from a . 21 ha parcel planted in 1919). As is often the case this is easily the most floral inflected nose in the range, and this includes the Clos Sorbs, with its lavender, lilac, violet, red and white rose, dark cherry and earth suffused aromas. There is fine intensity and detail to the medium bodied flavors that display ample minerality on the delicious and balanced finale. I was surprised though by the absence of the usual excellent complexity
