Looking west from the capitol you can see the City and County of Denver Building across Civic Center Park on this snowy February day

When first viewing the roof is reminded me of Denver International Airport however the lines at both are a little different

Emerald Bay is a picturesque location on its own

Using a shallower depth of field so the bear is slightly out of focus my thought was to peer through the foliage nearby to give another perspective of the bear

Under a midday sun I decided to not shade the scene, which allowed for the deeper shadows to show in the image as your eye moves throughout the scene.
