I found myself in lower downtown photographing some of the runners as well as the early morning light

I watched as some of the evening aircraft landed

A few weeks earlier I captured the fall colors around the Governor's Mansion and thought it would be a good comparison to photograph around there during this late snowfall once again working the lines into the image

There are still some reminders of the construction in the area

Curved Line in the Sand Size:11"x14" I found myself in lowerWhen you first get to the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve you can focus on the large dunes which sit in front of the Sangre de Christo Mountains. However there are also the small details which you can find as well as in this image. A line in the sand winds it way into the dunes as the afternoon sun casts a shadow.
