I added a little local mythology into the painting as well. If you look closely at the light pole in the foreground, you will see a green bouquet with two dark red roses. This is a memorial to Patrick Duffy. He was a panhandler and ex Vietnam war tunnel rat. He passed away while I was working on this painting. A
