Smoky Denver Sunset Size:16"x20" While driving a few years

While driving a few years ago I was waiting for a train to cross and noticed a small reservoir northwest of Denver

This was the case this evening when I hiked up Green Mountain in Lakewood to get a shot of Denver and the rising full moon in November 2009

I played around using a slower shutter speed to capture the motion of a train makes it way into the loop

checking out the tide pools on the west side of the park or checking out the skyline of San Diego

Smoky Denver Sunset Size:16"x20" While driving a few yearsAs some of the smoke from Colorado wildfires started to drift into the Denver area during the early Fall I headed out to capture the sunset from City Park. With many others in the park we watched the sun descend through the smoke filled skies behind the city and the mountains. With the smoke as a filter the sun turned bright orange and I wanted to capture this color while pushed the Denver skyline to silhouette with the many onlookers as well.
