I peeled back layers on several of the pieces to see what was underneath

while the other is mostly plain moleskin with a small repaired area near the top

which I always love to find

Carry Through Decor One side carries most ofCarry Through transforms a pair of vintage French chore pants in black moleskin with repairs unlike any I had seen before. In more than a decade of collecting, I had never come across mending this extensive on black moleskin. I used that cloth to make the bag, bringing together moleskin patchwork in a range of faded black and brown patinas and leaving the unfinished edges visible. All of the outer stitches are sewn by my hand. The body measures 15"
