There's a nostalgia for those foggy beach days with crisp winds and washed-up seaweed—a pang of sadness for the dropping leaves and impending winter weather

I then printed layers of blue and pink ink on paper to make this animated image of floating soap bubbles

Raked and battered by the constant wind and spray, it clings to its granite base with grit and endurance. Though leafless from its trials, this lone cypress still stands. I hope for the same persistence, beauty and grace amid adversity this tree has shown as I travel through my own life.
