The constant agitation, weather conditions, and sea salt air impart a flavor like no other bourbon on the market. As wheat is a softer grain than rye, it allows the flavors that are intrinsic to Ocean voyages to be amplified, as it will not compete with those flavors as the spice of the rye does.
