This particular example was produced by Gavina in Italy in the 1960s and imported and distributed by Knoll

The skinnier threads were used on an earlier dining table (The Eames borrowed the base from the dining table to use on the chair) but were soon changed to 1/4 inch threaded glides to make them more robust

The chairs do show some wear from previous use but overall are in good to very good condition

They are upholstered in red leather
