At this altitude it sees little maritime influence despite its proximity to the Mediterranean. It is 100% Xinomavro, a native red Greek grape variety of note. It is initially reminiscent of Rioja with tart red fruit and herbal notes. Over time, the fruit and tannins firm up to become more like Nebbiolo. The palate is flush with red fruits, spices, cherry tomato,
