These particular examples were produced by Herman Miller in the USA in 1958. The chairs are comprised of fiberglass shells in orange atop a steel chrome H base. DSX is an acronym for Dining Height Side Chair on X Base. The acronym stayed the same after they switched production to H bases from X bases. The listed price includes both chairs to be sold
