Railroad tracks extend into the water. On the track is a metal cage that is lowered from the tracks into the water. A boat is then pulled into the cage. Then, both the cage and boat are pulled up out of the water by cables run by a diesel engine. Once on land, the boat is braced with supports. Boats come from many fishing communities.
