It is all made using only locally bought fruit and a base spirit made from 100% American corn sourced from small farms. It is distilled in a copper still in small batch of 300 bottles and the process takes three days. It won a double gold medal at the 2015 New York World Wine & Spirits Competition, a gold medal at the 2015 San Francisco World Spirits
