Stopper still intact and in place, a little stuck from residue of the scented or perfumed salts within, and we didn't soak it to try to loosen it. We'll leave that to it's next owner. Most of these cases, those that survive at all, no longer have the perfume salts bottle, flacon, flask inside. So treasured is this one, it if not only
