Restauration Tankard Leaf 5" at it's widest pointWe are celebrating the 200th anniversary of Norwegian emigration on Restauration, a fishing sloop refitted to carry 50 some passengers to New York City. They came from Stavanger, Norway, and kept coming. There were opportunities for land newly opened, work on the Erie Canal, and religious freedom.
