On this day in October 2009 some early snow fell in the city which was interesting as the snow line was quite obvious throughout the city especially on the lawn of the capitol building

By being low to the ground the footprints leading towards the building became my central focus to place the viewer in the scene itself and lead them towards the decorated City and County Building

As sunset was approaching the park was filled with people playing disc golf as well as leaves from the trees as the peak color had passed

Whether it is on the steps of the Colorado state capitol, a row of seats at Coors Field, designations on the side of some buildings or a marker along a trail in City Park it is something residents in Denver are proud of having in this city.
